Joining the Houston Business Coalition for Equality is easy! 


Once verified, your company will be listed on our Web site.  Retail establishments will also be provided a 3x3 inch #HEROBIZ  “If you’re buying, we’re selling” window cling on request.

Coalition membership requirements:
  • Your company must either be Houston-based or have an office / retail location in the city.
  • Your company affirms that it is in compliance with the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance.
  • The sign-up form must be signed by an authorized agent for the company.
  • Members agree not to engage in activities or messaging in support of HERO repeal efforts.
Sponsorship of Out & Equal Houston and/or contribution to political action committees in support of the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance is not required to become a member of the Business Coalition.  Contact information will not be shared with other organizations without prior consent.

Business Coalition for Equality members will be listed on the Out & Equal Houston web site (www.outandequalhouston.org/hero ) and may be included in print or web advertisements.
